![]() There’s also no shortage of delicious dishes. The view is with giant picture windows looking out onto World Showcase Lagoon and booths and tables that are positioned in a way that really seems to maximize the sightlines. Not only does this Mexican eatery offer some of the best views of IllumiNations but it is arguably home to the best margaritas you’ll find on Disney property. Inside tables with a window view are also available though are not as plentiful.ĥ. However what makes this restaurant truly magical is the outdoor terraced seating area with amazing views of the Lagoon. Top it off with a selection from the Wine Menu and there are all the trimmings for a perfect dining experience. The restaurant also has more traditional entrees like beef and chicken skewers and lamb sliders. Spice Road Table is Morocco’s exotic lakefront dining option and boasts a spectacular menu filled with tapas-style Mediterranean small plates including hummus, stuffed grape leaves, and spicy garlic shrimp that are perfect for sharing. It is one of my favorite places to be at the World Showcase and with the breathtaking surroundings and the spectacular lighting you truly feel like you’ve been magically transported to another land. For those of you that haven’t had a chance to visit the Morocco Pavilion at night- make it a point to stop by during your next visit. I think we would have had more fun at the other Mexico full-service restaurant.1. ![]() So I urge anyone going for a honeymoon to ask for a window seat or AT LEAST a seat in the open room. The food was not good enough to make up for all of that ^^^. We also waited about 30 minutes to just get drinks, our waiter must have forgotten about us, which wouldn’t have been hard considering it’s a forgotten space in the restaurant by the cleaning crew, too, apparently. I have to note that we went for our honeymoon last April, and we noted in our reservation that it was our honeymoon, and it was brought up by the host when we checked in for our table as well… but they seated us in the darkest, dankest corner of the restaurant (there were either boogers or food splattered on the wall), next to a group of LITERALLY 8 toddlers (I love children, but do you really think our honeymoon should be spent yelling over our table at each other because we can’t hear over the chaos?) and zero view of the window. Will you be trying La Hacienda for dinner during your next trip to Walt Disney World? Leave a comment and let us know what you think! A cut above your normal Mexican-Restaurant-in-America experience, coupled with that gorgeous view, means that I’ll certainly be back for more. If you haven’t had a chance to check out La Hacienda, give it a try. One thing to note if you’re planning to make an Advance Dining Reservation here - they do not accept Tables in Wonderland, which is unfortunate. Our service was good, and our food was, well, great! From beginning to end, there were dishes that caused us to rave! And for me, that uniformly positive experience was something to be truly excited about. But hands down, this was the best visit to date. I’ve eaten at La Hacienda a few times, and I’ve offered a review of my experience twice before. Stop taking chances on finding a spot, or trying to get a seat at Rose and Crown. Recommended Disneyland Restaurants for First-Timers. ![]()
